I am a sophomore at Framingham State College majoring in History, with a minor in Secondary Education, and Law/Politics.
Experience
I want to be a tutor because I have very good communication skills. I really feel like I can help someone understand something better. I take a lot of pride in my education. I know how important education is, and would love to see others succeed with it. I think tutoring would be a great experience for me because someday I would like to be a high school history teacher. I believe it is extremely important to have a profound knowledge of the past in order to understand the present, and the future. I have a passion for history and writing. Classes taken relevant to my tutoring offers: In college I have taken, US history 1, and 2, Western Civilization since the Renaissance, Expository Writing, American Legal Systems, and General Psychology Classes I am currently taking relevant to my tutoring offers: A history Of Modern Science, Historical Research and Writing, Political Theory; Justice, Law, and Order. I have a 3.6 GPA in my major, and a 3.2 GPA over all. I have also worked as a summer school assistant, a youth basketball coach assistant, and a camp councilor.
