Experience
I graduated with my B.A. in Historical Studies with a focus on medicine, science, and history. While I was studying as an undergraduate student, I received funding for an ongoing project of mine called, "Historical Perspectives on Alternative Health." Currently, I am working on obtaining my M.A. in History while attaining my prerequisites for my graduate degree in a field that's related to pathology. I also study at the Center for Values in Technology, Medicine, and Science at UTD. Here, I am exposed to different areas of science that usually aren't focused on. One area that interests me the most is where Natural Sciences and Humanities intersect. I enjoy adding different disciplines to my belt, whether they be biology, history, technology, anthropology, ethics, archaeology, or literature. Currently, I am a teaching assistant in Dallas at the University of Texas in pathophysiology. I also have volunteer experience that has exposed me to different subjects. I believe there are different teaching methods when it comes to teaching or tutoring. Since every student learns in a different manner, it's best to find different ways in which that particular student can understand the material. In order to help students, I ask probing questions so they can find solutions to their problems. Other than teaching, I enjoy comic books, music, video games, and storytelling.
